Extension and modernisation of a 1970s detached house.
A five-bedroom detached house originally built in the 1970s required internal remodelling and increase of living space to suit the contemporary needs of our Client's family of five.
Sandwiched between Conservation Areas in Wimbledon, the extension had to be designed in a sensitive way whilst delivering our Clients’ desire for openness and modern appearance. The building has been doubled in size with a side and rear extension plus new accommodation in the loft space providing spacious and open plan living spaces with a guest suite on the ground floor and 2 bedroom suites on the first and second floors.

Total GIA: increased from 2,200sqft to 4,550sqft
